I have a book in me just waiting to be written.
How many of us have heard that statement or even said it? So many of us have dreams and aspirations of taking our life experience or an idea we have and moving it into reality.
I am one of those people and so is now published Author, Joanne Miller wife of Dan Miller, Life Coach and Author of 48 Days To The Work You Love.
Dan recently recorded a podcast with Joanne on her journey to becoming a published author. It is a sweet and honest interview that anyone can benefit from listening to. (Here's the link scroll to Winning, Quitting and Persisting )
No matter the circumstance, so many of us aspire to accomplish something. Usually something that has profound meaning to us but the execution of the idea can trip us up.
Sometimes it is the details. You know things like, who would want to publish my book? How can I find an illustrator? How much should I charge?
At times it is fear. Oh sure we call it procrastination, but it is fear. What if the book is terrible? What if it doesn't sell? What if...
Now of course if we had a group of traveling friends and family cheering us on we think that would make the difference, but the reality is that most times, it is not the lack of support that holds us back.
It is us.
I am so happy that Joanne has taken her beautiful poem, found a wonderful illustrator and provided a resource for every child who is a non-conformist, to find a story about them.
If you have a child age 2-8 buy this book. (NOT an affiliate link)
If you have a project that is not off the ground, listen to their podcast called Winning Quitting and Persisting, it is rich in wisdom and great insight.
And then...move it forward.
