Sometimes as we try and do something new, inventive, unique, fun....something just doesn't seem right.
We feel like a stranger in a foreign land. Like we're going through the motions but something is just ...well...missing.
I see this happen when people are aspiring to do something new, something extraordinary. They move into a new action and wonder why it feels so strange, so odd, so disconnected.
Often times they spend sums of money, years of their lives and quite a bit of energy to find the missing piece. To discover what is needed.
More often than not, the thing, that piece, that connection point, that evidence of wholeness they seek is in fact...them!
Whether you are an entrepreneur, ministry leader, or an employee being in a project 100% vs. dipping your big toe in the water can be the difference.
So are you in?

I'm in! SOOOOOOO true! Between trying to be humble and having insecurities, admitting that I might be the missing part is hard...yet once embraced, I think we can soar....or at least I'm hoping :)

I'm in ankle deep right now. A little hesistant (ok, very hesistant) to step forward yet excited about what the future will hold if I do. I am discovering Deb, that I must trust that still small voice inside of me and go for the 100%...

Joanna
Soar indeed! Your strength, your gift, the very reason you were created is the most important gift back to our Creator. Embrace away my friend!

Hi Raye
Boy I sure can relate to being hesitant! For years I've wanted to move out and mentor people into using their strengths and talents. I think what held me back was just as you said, not trusting even though I really felt called to do the very thing I was hesitant of, then I took the leap and my life has been all the better for it and hopefully the lives of those I am honored to serve.
Your friend in the journey!
Deb
